Welcome

Hello everyone! I am starting this blog to chronicle my upcoming trip through Europe, my first real international travel experience. I will be treating this blog as a journal/diary of my day-to-day journey, so that I can have a keepsake and also for others to enjoy my travels vicariously.

My Hungarian counterpart Balazs and I have been planning this trip for about 6 months now. It will be just us two for about 25 days, wandering (not all those who wander are lost =) ) through the great cities of Europe. If there was a travel style spectrum that was bounded by hippie-esque backpacking with no showers for a month on the far left, 5 star hotels and caviar on the far right, this trip would fall somewhere in the middle-left. We will be staying about 2-3 days in every major city, living in hostels, and traveling by train nearly the whole time. Countries to be visited include:

Spain
Italy
Slovenia
Hungary
Germany
Switzerland
France

So, provided that I have somewhat regular access to a computer with an internet connection, expect to see updates roughly every other day with pictures and experiences as best as I can relay them!
